Abstrak

One of the skills a madarasah head must have is managerial competence. This is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 3 of 2007 concerning the national education system which emphasizes that among the competencies that must be possessed by principals of schools / madrasahs is managerial ability. The same thing is explained by the Regulation of the Minister of Religion Number 58 of 2017 concerning madrasah heads which have been amended by PMA Number 24 of 2018, that managerial is a competency that must be possessed as well as a task that must be carried out by the head of madrasah. This paper presents the results of research regarding the managerial duties of madrasah principals in accordance with PERDIJEN PENDIS No.1111 of 2019 in Sukabumi Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the managerial duties of madrasah principals in accordance with PERDIJEN PENDIS No.1111 of 2019 in Sukabumi Regency. This research is a qualitative study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation study. The results of this study reveal that the leadership of madrasah principals as education managers in MTsN throughout Sukabumi Regency has not been maximized in applying their managerial competences. This can be seen from compiling madrasah planning for various levels of planning, creating a conducive work climate culture, building good communication with madrasah personnel, managing teachers and staff in order to empower human resources optimally.
